NOMAD THEATER

Marie-Noëlle Thirion (France) and  Ed de Jongh (The Netherlands)

offer their unique mix of puppets and life action in their very own open air theatre or in the spectacular theatre tent.

Actors and puppeteers for over twenty years,

they have delighted festivals all over.

The Nomad tent: (Click for photos)

• The tent is round with a diameter of 12 meters(40 feet)
• To put it up we need a circle of 17 meters(55 feet)
• It is a blackout tent with lighting and sound equipment available.
• The side walls are removable if an open tent is desired.
• On our tiered seating 150 children or 120 adults can have a seat.
• Our truck and the showman’s caravan need close access to the tent location.
• The tent carries a certificate of conformity with the new norms of security.

All the charms of a travelling show. We tour with our 70 year old showman’s caravan, towed by the truck. We put the tiered seating and the decors.

But first he must fight a monster, follow a mirage and try not to panic...

• happened every day..
• So much war, he lost his heart.
• By chance he discovers the castle of Lady Nostalgia.
• A prisoner of the past, Nostalgia lives on her memories.

THE ANCHOR (Click for photos)

A sea captain buys an old mysterious map, from a Chinese salesman.

This map shows the way to the mythic “West Pole” where you can realise your greatest wish. On this dangerous journey the captain and his cabin boy find a very special anchor which leads them into strange adventures…
